Mario C. Briones

Mario C. Briones, age 86 of Litchfield, passed away March 16, 2022, in Litchfield. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, at 3:30 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Ripley Cemetery. Mario Conde Briones, the son of Antonio Briones Munoz and Altagracia Conde Aguirre, was born November 11, 1935, in Juarez, Mexico. In 1981, Mario moved to Litchfield where he met Sara Molina, and they shared their lives together for 33 years until her passing. Mario worked hard to support their family as a general laborer. He was a member of Church of St. Philip. Mario loved to listen to music, watch baseball, and most importantly, he cherished time he spent with family and friends. Mario is survived by his children: Cristina Lopez of Litchfield, Ruben Molina of St. Paul, Sandy Lopez of Litchfield, Leticia Estrada of Litchfield, and Michael Molina of Litchfield; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and siblings: Pancho Briones, Altagracia Briones, Cuca Briones, Pilo Briones, and Damion Briones, all of Juarez, Mexico. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Sara Molina, and his parents.
