Wilton C. Johnson

Wilton C. Johnson, age 81, of Valley, Washington, formerly of Litchfield, MN, died on November 21, 2010 in Valley, WA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home, Litchfield, MN with Pastor Devin Locati officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Wilton Clarence Johnson, the son of Albert and Violet (Peterson) Johnson was born on October 8, 1929 in Cosmos, MN. Throughout his life Wilton lived in Minnetonka, Wisconsin and Washington. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Lammers on August 1, 1954 in Minneapolis, MN. A member of the Army, he served in Korea as a medic. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Wilton owned and operated a commercial and residential wood floor finishing business. Wilton enjoyed working, inventing and refining tools and spending time talking with people. He is survived by his daughter, Alena (Marlene) Wehr; grandchildren, Nathan and Laura Wehr; brothers, Glenn (and Willadine) of Litchfield, Dean (and LuAnn) of Norwood Young America; sisters, Laverne Ye of Golden Valley and Shirley (and John) Lekander of Kimball. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, father Albert, mother Violet, and 3 daughters Karen, Brenda and Lori.
