Willard 'Bill' Rosenow

Willard 'Bill' Rosenow, 85, passed away July 28, 2012, in DelRay Beach, Florida. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN, with Pastor Paul Lindhorst officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Interment will be held at Forest City Cemetery, Forest City, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bill's name. Willard was born October 22, 1926 to August Fred and Elizabeth Mary (Wagenkneckt) Rosenow in Watkins, MN. He was baptized November 28, 1926; Confirmed June 15, 1941; and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1944. Willard worked for Schwartzwald Motors after high school. In 1950 he went into the U.S. Army for two years. Throughout his life he worked at the Glen Lake Sanitarium, Hennepin County General Hospital, and the Hutchinson Hospital. He retired in 1990 and moved to DelRay Beach, FL, where he enjoyed life. Willard is survived by 22 nieces; 7 nephews; many grand and great grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
