Wesley F. Horwath

Wesley F. Horwath, age 63, of Litchfield, MN, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Wesley Frank Horwath, the son of Frank and Carolyn (Rohrbeck) Horwath, was born on May 12, 1951 in Litchfield, MN. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1970 and was united in marriage to Sherry Lewerenz on June 26, 1971. Together, Wesley and Sherry worked at the Litchfield Woolen Mills for 15 years and at Hutchinson Technology for about one year. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, and taking trips to Wisconsin, South Dakota and the casino. He also enjoyed his pet dogs, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Wesley is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Angela Horwath of Litchfield; grandchildren Nick, Alayna, Ella, Alexander and Thomas; brother Gary (Joan) Horwath of Litchfield, MN and sister Carole Lou (Robert) Becker of Watkins, MN.
