Wayne N. Pitzl, 69 of Litchfield, MN, formerly of Annandale, MN, died at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN on Friday July 5, 2024. A family service will be held at North Star Cemetery in St. Cloud, MN.
Wayne Norbert Pitzl, the son of Robert and Elaine (Anderson) Pitzl Sr. was born on September 14, 1954 in St. Cloud, MN. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1972 and was a member of the Carpenters Union.
Wayne started making cabinets when he was in high school, and over the years he built many homes and flipped houses that he lived in. He worked on many large condo projects in the twin cities and started Norby’s Carpentry Service in 1982, based in Eagan, MN. When he moved back to Annandale he continued being a handyman and he was recognized for his unique carpentry skills. He appreciated and enjoyed listening to music his entire life. He especially had a passion for the band, the Moody Blues.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters Robert (Denise) Pitzl Jr. of Annandale, MN, Jeanine (John) Driste of South Haven, MN, Debbie Garthe of Annandale, MN, Kenny (Vicki) Pitzl of Annandale, MN, Kathy (Dale) Erdmann of Annandale, MN and LaVon Maurer of South Haven, MN; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Pitzl Sr. and Elaine Weis; stepdad Walter Weis; brother Lynn and niece Carrie.
