Virginia M. Snow

Virginia M. Snow, age 92, of Litchfield, MN, died on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser celebrating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday at the Church of St. Philip with a Rosary and Prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Virginia Mary (Printy) Snow, the daughter of Michael and Emma (Smith) Printy was born on March 16, 1920 in Darwin Township, MN. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1938 and was united in marriage to Herman Snow in Darwin, MN on January 20, 1942. Virginia worked at Litchfield Produce and later for Meeker County Social Services where she began as a stenographer and retired in 1982 as the accounting officer after working for 39 years. Her faith was an important part of her life and she was a member of the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Virginia rode horses as a child and was known for the egg coffee that she made at home and church. She always had a garden full of vegetables that were canned and shared with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, taking her grandchildren to their various events and spending time with family. Virginia is survived by her children, Allan (and Mary) Snow of Brooklyn Park, MN, Cheryl (and Rick) Fey of Eden Prairie, MN and Linda (and Jeff) Barrick of Litchfield, MN; grandchildren, Deborah (and Stuart) Meaux, Michelle (and Tommy) Viner, Ryan (and Kristina) Fey, Noel (and Emily Tompt) Barrick and Jorgen Barrick; step grandchildren, Joe (and Mary) Amoe, Deborah (and Steve) Nieder, Jim (and Sally) Amoe and John (and Donna) Amoe; great grandchildren, Zachary Meaux, Briggs, Brooks and Braxton Viner, Hailey, Hunter and, Anders Fey, and Jayde and Nora Barrick; great step grandchildren, Gary, Justin and Joshua Amoe, Hannah Nieder, Kaylee, Nathan and Nicholas Amoe, Amanda and Tayler Amoe; great great grandson Landen Amoe.
