Virginia ""Gini"" Marguerite (Stevens) Fenton, the daughter of Norman and Marguerite (Babendrier) Stevens, was born on June 1, 1921, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up and received her education in Minneapolis, graduating from West High School in 1939.
Following high school, Gini worked at Pillsbury Corporation where shemet the love of her life, Hugh ""Al"" Fenton, and they were married on June 7, 1941, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Minneapolis. They made their home in New York City while Al served as a Captain in the United States Army during World War ll. In 1946, they moved to Litchfield and became partners in Fenton Motors. They were blessed with three children Dynee born in 1944, Steven born in 1947, and Leslie born in 1954.Gini thoroughly enjoyed raising their children and was fortunate to be a stay at home mother. In 1980, Gini and Al retired and moved to Big Sand Lake in Park Rapids where priceless memories were made with family and friends. They reveled in spending the winters in Scottsdale, Arizona where Gini savored the mountains and the Saguaro Cactus. Al passed away in 1993 andGini returned to Litchfield. Gini could often be found playing Bridge with many good friends. Gini will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving mom, grandma, and friend. Gini is survived by her children:Dynee (and Bill) Fenton-Nessof Kerkhoven andSteven (and Tammy) Fenton of Litchfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Joe Johnson and Gina Burns-Johnson both of Whitefish, MT, Tom (and Diana) Fenton of St. Cloud, MN, Jill (and Kyle)Duclos of Walker, MN, Mike (and Jennifer) Evenson of Kerkoven, MN, Matt (and Sarah) Evenson of Alexandria, MN, and Robert (and special friend Cassie) Moore of St. Paul, MN as well as thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Marguerite, sister Marilyn ""Stevie"" Gittleman, husband Al, and daughter Leslie Fenton Bolt.
