Virgil “Bud” C. Rangeloff, age 82, of Litchfield died on Saturday, July 14, 2018, peacefully in his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on August 8, 2018, at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Virgil Charles Rangeloff, the son of Evan and Lillian (Wimmer) Rangeloff, was born on January 1, 1936 in Litchfield. He grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1955. Bud married Corrine Christle on November 5, 1955, in Litchfield. He worked as an auto/diesel mechanic most of his life. He was a member of the Church of St. Philip. Bud enjoyed wood working, fishing and classic cars.
He is survived by his children Joan Linder of St. Cloud, Nancy Fenstra of Willmar, Beverly Schwarz of Windermere, FL, Paul Rangeloff (and Shane Burleson) of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Corrine, daughter Mary Wieber, brothers Romeo and Evan (Dingle) sisters Helen (Sis), Lois (Tots) and Lilly Ann (Nuff).
