Toni Lynn Phillips (Londo) age 46, of Litchfield died on September 5, 2017 at the Abbott northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Cornerstone Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 13th at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in the Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.
Toni Phillips was born on June 27, 1971 to Larry and Patty (Greene) Londo in Minneapolis. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis South High School. Toni worked as a waitress and cashier. on July 11, 1992, she was united in marriage to David Phillips at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Minneapolis; the church where she was also baptized and confirmed. They moved to Litchfield in May of 2001. She continued to waitress until a back injury forced her to stop. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed taking care of her family. When her daughter Samantha died two years ago she was devastated. She loved her family and was adored by all of the children in her extended family. She was everybody’s “Auntie” even for children outside her family. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her dog Pete and drinking Pepsi.
Toni is survived by her husband David of Litchfield, son Spencer Phillips of Litchfield; step-children Alexis and David Phillips Jr. of the Fargo Moorhead area She is also survived by her parents Larry and Patty of Litchfield; sister Tammy (and Michael) Burgoyne of Elk River and Mark Londo of Litchfield. She was preceded in death by her daughter Samantha Phillips, brother David Londo and her grandparents.
