Tom Fischhaber was born on October 18, 1955 to Gail Droptiny and Tom Fischhaber (deceased 1999) in Lapeer, Michigan. He was the elder sibling to his sisters Sue Shapell, Kay Giordano, and half-brother Adam Fischhaber. He attended St. Paul Lutheran Intermediate School in Lapeer, before graduating from Lapeer West High school 1973. Before long he married his first wife, Michelle Bowser (Inman) and they welcomed two children into the world, TJ Fischhaber III and daughter Andrea Ardnt (Fischhaber). Tom joined the United States Air Force where he would serve for 23 years as a survival instructor where he taught people to save not only their lives, but the lives of others. While in the Air Force, he was stationed at a multitude of bases that included Wurtsmith Air Force Base (AFB) in Oscoda, MI, Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA, and overseas in Kunsan AFB in Korea. Tom would eventually retire at the rank of TSgt. Recently divorced and retired from the service, he shifted gears slightly and began his journey helping to save people spiritually and enrolled at the Altanta Bible College in McDonough, Georgia, where he would meet his loving wife Anne. The first church he would Pastor was the Fair Oaks Community Church of God in Centerville, VA. Tom then received his Master's Degree in Divinity from Northeastern Seminary before coming to Eden Valley in the spring of 2013. Here he would find a community and church home that he loved dearly and that welcomed the two of them with open arms. He and Anne, enjoyed walking their dog Marley and working in their garden and flower beds. Tom also was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed biking and especially fishing the many lakes around the Eden Valley area. He also helped to inspire and educate his five grandchildren in the word of God. It was his wish to see his vision of Jesus's love for us and each other to continue even after he has left us to await for God's promise of the Kingdom to come.Previous Events
