Todd Buck

Todd M. Buck, age 47, of Litchfield died peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 25, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN with Father Brian Oestreich and Father Joe Steinbeisser concelebrating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28th from 4 PM until 8 PM at the Church of St. Philip and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial of cremated remains will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery. Todd Michael Buck, the son of Bernell and Shirley (Oestreich) Buck, was born on December 17, 1962 in Litchfield, MN. He lived and received his education in Litchfield graduating from Litchfield High School on 1981. He attended Red Wing Vocational Technical College and Willmar Vo-Tech. He worked for Honeywell from 1986 until 1996, JMD in Willmar in 1996 and worked as a machinist for 3M until the present time. Todd was united in marriage to Mary Walters on May 24, 2003 at St. Philip’s Catholic Church in Litchfield, MN. He was a member of St. Philip’s and also a member of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited. Todd enjoyed hunting, trapshooting, motorcycling, racing, volleyball, gardening and spending time with friends and family. Todd is survived by his wife Mary Walters of Litchfield, MN, children; Nicole (and Darren) Leland of Duluth, MN, Michael Buck of Litchfield, MN, Anna Walters of St. Cloud, MN, Daniel Walters of Litchfield, MN and Nathan Walters of Litchfield, MN, granddaughter; Hannah Leland, parents; Shirley and Bernell Buck of Litchfield, MN. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Herbert and Lillian Buck and maternal grandparents; Walter and Alice Oestreich.
