Thomas Harrington Russum Jr., age 77, of Litchfield, MN died of natural causes on Friday July 8, 2016 at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. Tom was born on March 21, 1939 in Dover, Delaware, where he grew up on the family farm. He worked on local farms and the Sear's service center before becoming a heavy equipment operator and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). His work provided Tom with the opportunity to travel and live in many areas of the country throughout his career until he retired. In retirement, he enjoyed attending rodeo's and was an avid Bingo player. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Blanche Shahan-Russum and Thomas Harrington Russum, Sr., sister Margaret (Peggy) Merchant, brother Robert (Bob) Russum, and grandson Xaine Schrader. He is survived by his brother John (Jack) Wesley Russum, Sr., daughter Lois Russum Blough, son Thomas Harrington Russum III, daughter Tracy Quale, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at a later date in Delaware. Previous Events
