Susan Lucille Cigar

Susan Lucille (Lund) Cigar, 52, passed away on January 28, 2013 at her home in San Pedro, CA. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Ostmark Lutheran Church in rural Watkins, MN. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Rev Joseph Midthun will officiate. Music will be by Sandy Brown. Interment will be in the Ostmark Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Ertl Funeral Home, Watkins, MN. Susan Lucille (Lund) Cigar was born on February 8, 1960 in Malta, MT. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Cheryl (Wortz) Lund. Her family moved back to Minnesota in 1968 where they lived in Bloomington. After a move to Estherville, IA, they moved back to Minnesota eventually settling in St. Cloud. Susan graduated from Apollo High School in 1978. Susan made California her home in 1987 until her death. While in California she had a business preparing taxes for others and also worked as a waitress. She enjoyed her home, cooking and her pets. She also enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends. She has left behind family, friends and clients in Minnesota and California that will miss her. Susan is survived by her mother, Cheryl (Wortz) Lund of St. Cloud, MN; her brother, Dana (Kathy) Lund of St. Joseph, MN; her sister, Jeanna (Larry) Nelson of Clearwater, MN; nieces, Michelle (Darby) Peacock and Kristina Lund; nephews, Jeremy Lund and Ryan (Nicole) Riggs; four great nieces and ten great nephews; aunts, Nancy (Larry) Boreen, Myrtle Ninow, Darlene Lossman, Sharon Bochoven; uncle, Arnie Lund; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Lund in 1996; grandparents, Dewey and Lucille (Pancake) Wortz, Oscar and Bertha (Lohse) Lund; and aunts and uncles.
