Susan Beebout

Susan K. Beebout, age 55, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield, MN. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009, at 11:00 AM at the Litchfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Kerr officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Milroy, MN. Susan Kay Beebout was born February 11, 1954, in Tracy, Minnesota to Chester and Mary (Gerner) Beebout. She grew up on a farm near Milroy, MN and graduated from the Milroy High School in 1972. She married Mike Klein and together they lived in Dassel before moving to Litchfield. She was a home maker during the years her children were young. Susan then drove bus for Hick’s Bus Line and began working as waitress at the Litchfield VFW, which she later managed for 8 years. She also has worked at the American Legion in Litchfield since 2003. She was a member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and throwing darts. Susan was an avid reader and cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Susan is survived by her children Scott Klein of Litchfield, MN, Jocelyn (and Chadd) Benson of Litchfield, MN, Greg Klein of Roseville, MN and Leslie (and Patrick) Arnold of Kimball, MN; grandchildren Madelyn, Jocelyn, Patrick, Hallie, Amelia, and Ronnie; mother Mary (and Cyril) Lensing of Wabasso, MN; brothers Jon (and Diane) Beebout of Underwood, MN and Daniel (and Cathy) Beebout of Milroy, MN; and sisters Jill (and Jeff) Jenson of Gilbert, AZ and Rosalie (and Charles) Brown of Henderson, NV. She is preceded in death by her father Chester.
