Steven Buhr

Steven H. Buhr, age 58, of Litchfield, MN died at Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN, Saturday February 26, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield with Pastor Harvey Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be held in Clara City at a later date. Steven Harold Buhr, the son of Harold and Delores (Hubble) Buhr, was born on July 27, 1952 in Montevideo, MN. He attended Springfield High School, graduating in 1970. Steven was united in marriage to Denise Bernardy in New Ulm, MN. Throughout his life he lived in Montevideo, New Ulm, Spokane, WA and Litchfield, MN. He enjoyed playing volleyball, shooting pool, listening to music, watching sports and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Delores Buhr of Litchfield, MN; son, Jason (and Sarah) Buhr of Litchfield, MN; 2 grandchildren, Allison and Isaac of Litchfield, MN; brothers, James (and Mary Beth) Buhr of Litchfield, MN and Daniel Buhr of Litchfield, MN. He is also survived by his life long friend, Clayton Vedbraaten of Litchfield, MN. He is preceded in death by his father Harold Buhr.
