Steven Michael Bratz

Steven M. Bratz lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 3rd at Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN he was 68 years old. Joint services will be held at Cornerstone Church on Tuesday October 31, 2017 at 4pm for both Rachael and her father Steven Bratz. Steven was born in Litchfield on July 21st 1949 and graduated Litchfield High School in 1970. He then married Barbara Lietzau in 1973; from this union were two daughters, Jessica and Rachael. Steve and Barb divorced in 1992. Steve worked as a laborer for Fingerhut and Custom Products, eventually moving to Dawson, MN where he worked at the Firefly Creek Casino in Granite Falls, MN. Steve played the accordion and bass guitar by ear starting out with a family band and eventually performing at many local venues. He loved to do word search and fill-in puzzles and watch westerns and wrestling. He is survived by his two daughters, Jessica VanLanduyt (Ravi) and Rachael Koehn, Grandchildren, Sarah Braatz and Ravi VanLanduyt Jr. His special friend Mary Jean Peterson. His brother Robert Bratz and Sister Joan Bratz as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Following Steve's passing, his daughter Rachael Jo Koehn (35) passed away unexpectedly Monday October 16, 2017 at Meeker Memorial Hospital.
