Steve R. Nygaard, age 58, of Litchfield, MN, died on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at his home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home, Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Steven Robert Nygaard, the son of Robert and Gladys (Martin) Nygaard, was born on September 29, 1954 in Litchfield, MN. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. He attended Litchfield Schools, and worked at the Emmanuel Home for 5 years and also at various part-time jobs. He is survived by his brother Dennis (and JoAnn) Nygaard; sisters, Karen (and Vern) Rolstad, and Kathy (and Vern) Huckenpoehler; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
