Sandra Mary Heinrichs

Sandra M. Heinrichs, age 77, of Litchfield died on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center in Litchfield. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery. Sandra Mary Heinrichs, the daughter of Fred and Mildred (LaRose) Besaw, was born on July 25, 1941 in Peru, New York. She grew up in Peru and attended high school there. She met the love of her life on a blind date in New York. She married Donald Heinrichs on July 25, 1959 and their marriage was blessed with four children. They moved to Minnesota in 1964. Finger Hut, Animal Fair, Emmanuel Home and Meeker County Community Homes were a few of the various places she worked over the years. She loved taking care of others, especially those with disabilities. After retiring from Meeker Community Homes she provided child care for her grandchildren. In 2016, she moved into Meeker Manor where she has many friends. She enjoyed doing crafts, playing Bingo, having coffee with her friends and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Don Heinrichs of Litchfield, children Leaurie (Darrell) Seiffert of Litchfield, Dale (Nancy) Heinrichs of Hutchinson, Debra Schmid of Hutchinson and Douglas (Ruth) Heinrichs of Litchfield; grandchildren Jessica Munce, Nicole Schmid, Michael Schmid, Ryan Kanniainen, Joshua Heinrichs, Justin Heinrichs, Kayla Nowak, Aaron Seiffert, Chris Seiffert, and Galadriel Heinrichs; 14 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Mildred Besaw, brothers Clarence Besaw and Gary Besaw, father-in-law and mother-in-law Aloys and Lola Heinrichs.
