Robert 'Bob' D. Scott, age 80, of Litchfield, MN, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Bonfire Bar and Grill, 16818 MN HWY 22, Litchfield, MN. Arrangements by Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home, Litchfield, MN. Robert 'Bob' Donald Scott, the son of Elam and Mary (Zimmerman) Scott was born on December 17, 1929, in Boon Lake Township, MN. He grew up and received his education in Stewart and Litchfield. Bob entered the military in 1951, serving 2 years in the Army at the Edward Air Force Base as an Army Engineer. He was united in marriage to Selma ""Olga"" Callendar on May 18, 1957 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Acoma and later moved to Greenleaf. Throughout his life Bob was a construction worker. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and doing mechanical work on cars, tractors and construction equipment. He is survived by his children, Kay (Scott) and Bill Deadrick of Litchfield, MN, Lyle Scott of Eldora, MN, Curt and Cindy Scott of of Buckeye, AZ, Jeff Scott of Hutchinson, MN and Donnie and Robyn Scott of Cosmos, MN; 2 grandchildren Amanda Deadrick and Derek Deadrick; and brother Alan Scott of Hibbing, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elam and Mary; wife, Selma 'Olga'; brother, Ellery; sisters, Marion Scott Ooyman and Deloris Scott.
