Robert Allan Hartz

Robert A. Hartz, age 40, Naperville, IL died on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Edwards Memorial Hospital in Naperville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Church of St. Philip with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 25th at the Church of St. Philip with parish prayers at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the services at the church. The rosary will be prayed at 9:45 AM on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Litchfield. Robert ""Rob"" Allan Hartz, the son of Darryl and Elaine (Brulla) Hartz, was born on January 14, 1971 in Litchfield. He grew up and attended school in Litchfield, graduating from Litchfield High School in 1989. He continued his education at St. John's University and graduated in 1993. Rob worked for Kmart and was transferred to different locations to help improve ""troubled"" stores. His work took him to Wisconsin, Indiana and, for the last 4 years, Illinois. He enjoyed work and devoted much time to it. He also enjoyed sports, travelling and celebrating St. Patrick's day and New Year's Eve with friends. He is survived by his brother Todd (and Barbara) Hartz of Avondale, PA, and sister Kimberly (and Michael) Reger of Payson, AZ, nieces and nephews; Melanie Reger, Michael Reger, Darryl Hartz and Nichole Hartz, grand nieces; Riley Reger and McKenna Leslie.
