Ricky William Alama

Ricky William Alama was born on 8/18/78 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and died on 8/2/13 in Johnstown, PA. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2013. Family and friends may join together from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date. He is survived by his mother Patricia A. (Kern) Alama along with Bob Canfield of Johnstown, PA, his father Ricky G. and Heidi (Rosenow) Alama of Litchfield, MN, siblings Stephanie L. (Alama) and Roger Goldsmith of Johnstown, PA Holly Rosenow along with Isaac Knott of Litchfield, MN a nephew Elijah and a niece Maya (Holly's children), grandparents Robert and Diane Rosenow of Darwin, MN, William R. Ochu of Fort McCoy, FL. He also leaves behind scores of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins spread out across MN and beyond. Preceding him were his grandparents Rudolph and Elfriede Kern and Gayle (Riebe) Ochu and Richard F. Alama. Ricky enjoyed many sports in his early years and was fond of fishing, hunting, reading and especially cooking. He started cooking at a very early age in the kitchens of his Grandmother's. We recently found out that Ricky, through his big heart and giving nature, had been known to watch over the children of the less fortunate and people like himself seeking recovery from addiction while residing in Johnstown. ""Little Ricky"" has received his wings and now resides in heaven with those who have gone before him. He leaves behind many that will lovingly miss and remember him for his large giving heart.
