Richard K. Larson, age 64, of Litchfield died on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Randall, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 19th at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, November 18th at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Richard ""Rick"" Kevin Larson, the son of Duane and Catherine (Keigan) Larson, was born on June 16, 1952, in Litchfield. He grew up on a farm near Atwater and attended country school through the eighth grade. He graduated from Atwater High School in 1970 where he participated in FFA, wrestling, and saddle club. Following school Rick enjoyed working for a neighbor on their farm for about a year. He then started working at Custom Products in Litchfield. Early in his employment he worked in the shop and in the parts department. He worked as an in-house sales person for the majority of his time of over 45 years with that company. Rick also spent 14 years in service to his community as a reserve deputy with the Meeker County Sherriff's Department. On August 22, 1987, he was united in marriage to Debra K. Sieben in Sauk Centre, MN. Rick was a member of the Church of St. Philip. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, Ducks Unlimited, and Pheasants Forever. Rick also liked to read westerns and history, and enjoyed napping and snoring! He is survived by his wife Debra Larson of Litchfield; daughters Megan Larson and Bethany Larson both of Litchfield; siblings David Larson of Hutchinson, Michael (and Kris) Larson of Glendale AZ, Doug (and Jovelyn) Larson of Maple Grove, Kathleen (and Chuck) Worms of St. Paul, Nancy (and Monty) Itzen of Wheaton, Donna (and Tim) Elton of Atwater and Shannon Arndt of Cosmos. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents and grandparents. Rick is greatly loved and will be missed dearly. Previous Events
