Rebekah Joramo

Rebekah "Becky" K. Joramo, age 25, of Moose Lake, formerly of Grove City, died at her home on Monday, January 26, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City with Pastor Peter Lee officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2009 at the church. Interment will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield. Rebekah Kristin Joramo, the daughter of Steve and Ruth (Gustafson) Joramo, was born on October 21, 1983 in Litchfield. Rebekah was baptized at Mount Carol, IL on Easter of 1985. She grew up and attended school at ACGC graduating in 2002. She was a princess of the Grove City Royalty in 2000-2001. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin in Superior where she graduated with a degree in social work. She then moved to Moose Lake and worked as a social worker for the State of Minnesota. She was a confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her parents Steve and Ruth Joramo of Grove City; sister, Jennifer (and Warren) Riebe of Litchfield; nieces, Cassandra, Mackenzie, MaKenzie and Alyssa; grandmothers, Bernice Gustafson of Willmar, MN and Marian Joramo of Litchfield, MN and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Floyd Joramo Sr. and Rev. Arthur M. Gustafson and was united in death with her unborn daughter Chloe Elaine.
