Phillip Ray Dragt

Phillip R. Dragt, age 62, of Litchfield died at his home on December 15, 2010. Visitation will be Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with a prayer service starting at 3:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN with Pastor Jean Smith officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Phillip Ray Dragt, the son of John and Ruby (Brink) Dragt, was born on May 3, 1948 in Willmar, MN. He received his education at the Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg and Clara City, graduating in 1966. Phil was in th U.S. Army Reserves in Willmar from 1967-1973.He was also a member of the Grove City JC's and the Grove City Fire Department. Throughout his life , Phil lived in Prinsburg, Grove City and Litchfield. He worked at the Variety Store in Clara City where he did art work and modeling. He worked at Holmquist Lumber in Grove City, LPC in Litchfield and for the past 17 years at Hutchinson Technology. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards and assembling model cars. He also enjoyed drawing and painting as he was a very gifted artist. Phillip is survived by his children; Mitchell (and Nicole) Dragt of Litchfield, Brianna (and Matthew) Forster of Grand Forks, ND and Christopher Dragt of Litchfield, grandson; Logan Dragt, mother; Ruby Dragt of Litchfield, brothers; Ron (and Diana) Dragt of Gilroy, CA and Perry (and Carol) Dragt of Litchfield, sister; Sandi (and Michael) Hirman of Litchfield. He was preceded in death by his father John and brother Duane.
