Phamie Ruth Lee

Phamie Lee, age 94, of Litchfield died on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Methodist Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 29th at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield. Phamie Lee was born on July 29, 1923 to Carl and Nesina (Peterson) Linden in Danielson Township, Minnesota. She grew up in the Litchfield area. On April 28, 1945, she was united in marriage to Ernest Lee. They made their home in Litchfield. Phamie worked for Triway Motel and then Jennie-O for many years before working at the Super Value Bakery. She was a member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church, VFW and Legion Auxiliary, the Cooties, Eastern Star, the DAV Auxiliary and 40 and 8. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and embroidering. Phamie loved her family and spending time with them. She is survived by her children, Robert (Eileen) Lee of St. Louis Park, James (Joanne) Lee of Watertown, MN, and Wayne (Katie) Lee of Litchfield; Grandchildren Andrew Lee, Katie Lee, Patrick Lee, Gavin Lee, Candice Brody, Brandon Lee, Amber Wolford, Nicholas Lee, Michael Lee,Troy Wendroth. and Justin Wendroth. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Nesina Linden; husband, Ernest Lee; son Kenneth Lee, brothers, Chester Linden and Andrew Linden; and sisters, Florence Lind and Edna Linden.
