Patrick Shoutz

Patrick W. Shoutz, age 45, of Rosendale, MN, died on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Rosendale United Methodist Church with Pastor Joseph Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26th at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in Rosendale Methodist Cemetery, Rosendale, MN. Patrick Wayne Shoutz, the son of Milton and Lucille (Wimmer) Shoutz was born on March 5, 1964 in Farmington, Iowa. He grew up and received his education in Annandale and Cokato, MN. He was united in marriage to Diane Jackson on July 27, 2001 at their home in Rosendale, MN. He most recently worked for Modern Quilters. He loved to garden and can his tomatoes and pickles, play horseshoe, cut wood and play cards. He enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to music by Elvis, spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Diane Shoutz of Rosendale; father Milton Shoutz of Eden Valley; children Mandi (and TJ) Christianson of St. Cloud, MN, Crystal (and fiancé Ryan Toulouse) Shoutz of Clearwater, MN and Kayla Shoutz of Chaska; step-children Teresa (and Chris) Schaeffer of New London, MN, Shannon (and Tom) Benesch of Atwater, MN, Tanya Decker of Plymouth, MN, Jeremy (and Amy) Decker of Maple Grove, MN and Tory (and Nicole) Decker of Sartell, MN; grandchildren Shila Christianson, TJ Christianson Jr., Jestin Shemon and Jenessa Toulouse; step-grandchildren Ashley Schaeffer, Hannah Schaeffer, Julia Schaeffer, Cheyenne Madsen, Zachary Madsen, Caitlynn Decker, Maddie Decker, Rollan Decker, Norah Decker, Garet Decker and Alexis Decker; step-great grandson Gavin Schaeffer; brothers Clifford (and Jody) Shoutz of Chaska, MN; Rick Shoutz of Rosendale, MN, J.R. Shoutz of Litchfield, Raymond Shoutz of Atwater, MN and Mike Shoutz of Atwater; and mother-in-law Geraldine Jackson. He is preceded in death by his mother Lucille; brothers Greg, Leslie and Louis; and sister Connie.
