Patricia A. Shoutz

Patricia A. Shoutz, age 55 of Grove City, passed away March 16, 2022. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Patricia Ann “Patty” (Kunkel) Shoutz, the daughter of Alfred and Mildred Kunkel, was born November 16, 1966, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was baptized on December 3, 1966, and confirmed on April 6, 1980. She was raised with her three siblings in the Meeker County area. After graduating from Litchfield High School in 1985, Patty moved to the Minneapolis area prior to moving to South Carolina for a few years. Several years ago, she returned to her roots in Meeker County. Crocheting, doing word searches, and watching WWE wrestling were ways Patty liked to spend her free time. She loved all kinds of flowers and all things Harry Potter. Patty loved her family most of all and really cherished the time they spent together. Patty is survived by her son, Wayne Shoutz (fiancé Rebekah Miller) of Grove City, MN; stepchildren: Jerry Shoutz of Sauk Rapids, MN and Samantha Shoutz of Belgrade, MN; adopted son, Sky Janot of South Dakota; four grandchildren; parents: Alfred and Mildred Kunkel of Darwin, MN; siblings: Melissa Thomas of St. Augusta, MN, JoAnn Ebner of Otsego, MN, and James Kunkel of Darwin, MN; several nieces and nephews; and former husband, Scott Shoutz of Grove City, MN. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alfred and Hilda Kunkel and James and Rose Wanous; uncle, Myron Wanous; aunt Audrey Pflueger; and granddaughter, Emily Shoutz.
