Pamela Riehle

Pamela E. Riehle, age 54, of Litchfield, MN, died on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield, after a courageous 8 year battle with liver disease. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joe Steinbeisser as celebrant. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, with a prayer service at 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Darwin, MN. Pamela Elsie Riehle, the daughter of Chester and Dorothy (Beird) Robinson, was born on January 12, 1954 in Woburn, Mass. She graduated from Ramey Air Force Base High School in Puerto Rico, in 1973. She was united in marriage to Peter Riehle on May 5, 1973. Pam moved to Darwin, MN in 1980 and has lived in Litchfield since 1995. She worked at I.R.D., where she was a supervisor. Pam was a member of the Church of St. Philip, the Darwin Drifters and the Darwin Rod and Gun Club. She enjoyed camping, bowling, scrapbooking and cross-stitching. Spending time with her family was very important to her. Pamela is survived by her husband Peter Riehle; children Laura Riehle of Albertville, MN, and Louis Riehle of Atwater; 2 grandchildren; a brother William Robinson of Jonestown, Pa; and 2 sisters Carol Douthett of Melbourne, Florida and Donna Mauro of Orlando, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Dorothy; and an infant brother Jimmy.
