Orville E. Johnson

Orville E. Johnson, age 88, of Litchfield, MN died on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be held in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Atwater, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Orville Edward Johnson, the son of Milo and Tillie (Wilde) Johnson was born on August 6, 1926 in Union Grove Township, MN. He attended school at District 36 in Grove City, MN and served in the US Navy. Orville farmed in Swede Grove Township and retired from Hanson Silo Co., Lake Lillian at the age of 62 and has lived in Litchfield for the past 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, going for drives and visiting with his friends. Orville is survived by his daughter Deanna (David) Lease of Eden Valley, MN and grandchildren Mitchell and Mariah.
