Norman G. Suchy

Norman G. Suchy, age 70, of Grove City, MN passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Dassel Lakeside Community Home in Dassel, MN. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service. Norman Gene Suchy, the son of Frank and Janet (Austin) Suchy, was born on October 28, 1945 in Burlington, CO. Norm lived in Colorado and Nebraska until moving to Foley, MN in 1959. He graduated from Foley High School in 1965 and was united in marriage to Rose Lynn Kessler on May 26, 1972 in Sauk Rapids, MN. Norm was a farmer on the family farm in Foley until moving to the Litchfield and Grove City area in 1981 where he began milking, custom farming, truck driving and was a machinist. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Rose Suchy of Cosmos, MN; children Michelle deLottinville of Cosmos, MN, Tony Suchy of Grove City, MN, Katy (Todd Sieben) Suchy of Eden Valley, MN and Dustin (April) Suchy of Litchfield, MN; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; brother David Suchy of Montrose, MN; brothers-in-law Thomas (Pat) Kessler of Yakima, WA and Robert (Kathy) Kessler of Brooten, MN; and sister-in-law Kathleen (David) Peterson of Farmington, MN.
