Nancy Sue Crowe

Nancy S. Crowe, age 72, of Grove City died on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 1st at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City. Nancy Sue Crowe, the daughter of Clayton and Doris (Howarth) Larson, was born on February 16, 1944, in Minneapolis. At a young age her family moved to Worthington where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Worthington High School and continued her education at Augustana. On December 5, 1964, she was united in marriage to Wayne Crowe in Minneapolis. They lived in Worthington for about six years before moving to the Grove City area. They lived in Grove City since 1973. She worked as a sales clerk at Nelson Brothers and as a home health aide. She then worked as a special education paraprofessional at ACGC. Nancy was active in her community and volunteered for hospice and the Emmaus Gift Shop. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in the Trinity Visitors, WELCA and the quilting group. Nancy loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, hardanger, knitting, crocheting and shopping. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Crowe of Grove City; children Kristen (and Paul) Patton of Coon Rapids and Dan (and Melonie) Crowe of Litchfield; grandchildren, Dillon Crowe, Annika Patton, Caleb Patton, and Elise Patton. She is also survived by her brother Tom Larson of Mankato and sister Paula Halstenson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law Gerald Halstenson.
