Myron was born on May 7, 1934 in Dassel, MN to Elmer Alexander Soderberg and Josephine (Koistinen) Soderberg. He was the oldest of four siblings, Merlyn John Soderberg, LaVonne Holtan and Lance Soderberg. Myron lived in Faribault, Willmar, and Canby. In 1992 Myron moved in with his foster family, Lois and Roger Lensing, in Porter, Minnesota. He enjoyed the country life, taking care of the horses, family pets, and rides on the tractor. In 2011, Myron moved to Litchfield and lived with his Meeker County Community Home family. Myron worked at the Canby DAC in the car wash and Proworks Inc., working in the shredding area and production.
Myron loved old westerns and horse movies, including The Lone Ranger, Bonanza, Mr. Ed, and any movie that included John Wayne. He liked going out for a cheeseburger, french-fries, and a coke once or twice a week. He aspired to be a Sheriff’s Boss and enjoyed visits from his favorite Deputy Jon Thoma and the Ambulance crew members. Myron was always joking, laughing, and putting a smile on everyone’s face.
