Minnie M. Swenson

Minnie M. Swenson, age 96, quietly passed away on July 26, 2014. She was a warm and loving mother to her children, James D. Swenson of Litchfield, MN; Marjorie R. Larson of Plymouth, MN; Curtis J. Swenson (deceased); Marcia L. Grunau of Shakopee, MN and Jane E. Spolar of St. Cloud, MN. Minnie was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was born in Regal, MN to Joseph and Margaret Fangmeier and raised on the family farm with 12 brothers and sisters, all deceased. Minnie was married to A. Kenneth Swenson for 51 years prior to his death in 1987. Services will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. Visitation is at 1 PM, service at 2 PM, with lunch following the service. Internment will be at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Willmar, MN after the luncheon.
