Mildred T. LaLonde

Mildred Theresa LaLonde, the daughter of Jacob and Agnes (Krippner) Simons was born in Stewart, MN on July 4, 1927. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart, MN. She attended Stewart High School and was united in marriage to Fred LaLonde on July 11, 1950 in Hutchinson, MN. Millie was a member of the Church of St. Philip and active with the Daughters of Isabella. She was the best mother and homemaker ever and worked at Ben Franklin for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother to her four children, Debbie, Brenda, Fred and Jimmy; and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always was the gracious hostess to many friends and relatives and her pies were the best!! She enjoyed many years at their lake cabin in northern MN, bowling and trying to win big at the casino. Mildred is survived by her children Debbie (Scott Bjerva) LaLonde of Eagan, MN, Brenda (Gregg) Popp of Hutchinson, MN and Fred (Robin) LaLonde of Litchfield, MN; four grandchildren Sarah, Rachael, Laura and Michelle; great grandchildren Liam, Quinton, Bridger, Asa, Evelyn, Eli, William, Adelynn and Charles; and brothers and sisters Joe (Deanna) Simons of Kasson, MN, Frank (Cathy) Simons of Elko, MN and Katie Sheehan of Champlin, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Agnes; husband Fred LaLonde; son James LaLonde; mother and father-in-law Fred and Rose LaLonde; brothers Raymond Simons, Albert Simons and Leonard Simons; sisters Theresa Holm and Dorothy Johnston; niece Jackie Simons; and nephew Joe Simons.
