MaryAnn Katheryn Veenhuis

MaryAnn K. Veenhuis, age 75, of Litchfield died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at her home in Lincoln Apartments. Family and friends may gather on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. MaryAnn Veenhuis, the daughter of Henry and Agnes (Andersen) Willner, was born on March 28, 1939, in Blue Earth Minnesota. Her family moved to the New London area and she graduated from New London High School in 1957. Her family moved to Litchfield and in 1962, she was married to Gerald Veenhuis. They moved to various places including Rochester, Detroit Lakes, the twin cities, back to Litchfield and then to Duluth. She moved back to Litchfield where she resided until her death. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Litchfield. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and shopping. She is survived by her children, Nancy (and Dave) Hendrickson of Champlin and David Veenhuis of Duluth; brother, Robert (and Wanda) Willner of Litchfield; sister, Judy Groskreutz of Litchfield; grandchildren Heather Veenhuis and Nathan Hendrickson; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bill and Raymond.
