Mary M. Estes

Mary M. Estes, age 69, of Watkins, MN, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at her home in Watkins, MN. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Mary Margaret Estes, the daughter of Leo and Vera (Brunko) Pherigo, was born on August 4, 1943 in Litchfield, MN. Throughout her life, Mary lived in Lincoln, NE, Falls City, NE and Watkins, MN. She attended Eden Valley High School and was married to Keith Estes on December 29, 1984 in Verdon, NE. She worked as a waitress and a cook at several restaurants and was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church of Fairhaven. Mary enjoyed puppies, crocheting, camping, spending time on the computer, going to yard sales, having her coffee, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She will be remembered for her fun and unique personality. Mary is survived by her husband Keith of Watkins, MN; children, Mark (and Traci) Estes of Lincoln, NE, Paul Estes of Watkins and Lori (and Bryon) Terriell of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister Joann Reikofski of Watkins, MN.
