Marlyn Sandry

Marlyn K. Sandry, age 76, of Litchfield, MN died on Friday, February 17, 2017, at the Bethany Assisted Living in Litchfield. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Augustana Memorial Chapel in Litchfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Marlyn Kent Sandry, the son of Leo and Evelyn (Tummelson) Sandry, was born on September 28, 1940 in Litchfield, MN. He graduated from Grove City High School. Marlyn was united in marriage to Bernice Working on February 14, 1987. Throughout his life he lived in rural Minnesota where he was a crop farmer, a mechanic and a truck driver. He was a member of the National Rifleman Association and enjoyed deer hunting, trap shooting and reloading ammunition shells. He also enjoyed driving to Willmar to dine out, going on road trips, listening to country music, gardening, and raising strawberries and raspberries. He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Sandry of Litchfield, MN and Kay (Daniel) Alm of Litchfield, MN; step-daughters Nancy (Paul) Goeddertz of Grove City, MN and Elsie (Dallas) Kashmark of Litchfield, MN; five grandchildren Brady, Tasha, Robert, Travis and Riley; step-grandsons Jason and Joshua; great grandchildren Ashton and Bailey; and a brother Clayton Vedbraaten of Litchfield.
