Mark E. Koglin

Mark E. Koglin, age 53, died on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the First Lutheran Church, Litchfield, MN, with Pastor Tom Evenson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home, Litchfield, MN. Interment will be at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Mark Emil Koglin, the son of Martin and Belva (Williams) Koglin was born on July 16, 1957 in Renville, MN. He attended Litchfield High School, graduating in 1976. Throughout his life, Mark worked at Jennie-O Foods, Green Giant, Payco Feeds and Faribault Foods. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to country music, fishing, and going out for coffee with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time at flee markets, taking trips to the casino, watching football games, and going to parades. He is survived by his brother, Scott Koglin of Litchfield; sisters, Sandra Koglin of Litchfield and Laverne (and Carlos) Olivas of New Ulm, MN; nephew, Carlos; two nieces, Theresa and Jenna; great nephew Tyler and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Karen.
