Marjorie Olson

Marjorie A. Olson, age 70, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Paynesville Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN with Pastor Harvey Nelson as officiant. Interment will be in Ripley Cemetery. Marjorie Ann Olson was born on November 16, 1937 to Roy and Margaret (Gray) Olson in Litchfield, MN. She grew up and lived on her family homestead northwest of Litchfield in Harvey Township. She worked at Jennie-O in Litchfield and Golden Plump in Cold Spring. She enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, raising mink, and gardening. She was a member of the Litchfield Saddle Club. Marjorie is survived by her special friend Orville Meemken; and brothers and sisters Victor (and Evelyn) Olson, Marian Joramo, Arnold E. (and Rose) Olson, Ruth Irene Peterson and Robert (and Vangie) Olson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
