Marie Boline

Marie E. Boline, age 80, of Cokato, MN, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Cokato Manor in Cokato, MN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Ostmark Lutheran Church, Forest City Township, MN with Rev. Jack Torgersen and Pastor Al Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 PM on Friday at the Ostmark Lutheran Church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Ostmark Lutheran Cemetery, Forest City Township, MN. Marie Evangeline Boline, the daughter of Salem and Agnes (Wirtz) Dahl, was born on August 10, 1928 in Meeker County, MN. Marie grew up in the Watkins area and graduated from Kimball High School. She was united in marriage to Gilbert Boline. Throughout her life Marie lived in Watkins, Litchfield and Cokato where she was a hairdresser, a book-keeper at the Watkins Creamery and a home healthcare aide for Meeker County Public Health. She was an active member of Ostmark Lutheran Church, where she was baptized, confirmed and married. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, spending time with children and fishing. She loved to visit and entertain family and friends and always had the coffee on. Marie is survived by her brother Erv (and Racheal) Dahl of Brooklyn Center, MN; special friends Bev (and Carl) Rokala of Dassel, MN; godchildren Cindy Rokala Miller (and the late Torey Miller) of Dassel, MN; Stephanie (and Jim) Rokala Cappelleri of Delano, MN; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Salem and Agnes; husband Gilbert; an infant brother and brother Elmer; and sister-in-law Geraldine.
