Marian G. Joramo, age 82, of Litchfield, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Jean Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City and will continue one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery. Marian Genevieve Joramo the daughter of Roy and Margaret (Gray) Olson was born on May 24, 1927 in Harvey Township, Meeker County. She grew up and received her education in Harvey Township attending District #92. On October 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to Floyd Joramo, Sr. in Little Falls, MN. Together they owned and operated the 4 Jays Mobile Home Park in Grove City which Marian continued after Floyd, Sr’s death. Marian was very active in Trinity Lutheran Church, active in the Grove City Women’s Club and was a Tupperware dealer for many years. She loved to entertain, socialize and have many flower gardens. Marian is survived by her sons; Floyd Joramo, Jr and significant other Nancy Howk of Litchfield and Steve (and Ruth) Joramo of Grove City. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Jennifer (and Warren) Riebe, Ellen Klopfleisch, Megan Lundin, and Kyle Joramo, 12 great grandchildren, brothers; Victor (and Evelyn) Olson of Litchfield, Arnold “Bud” (and Rose) Olson of Kimball and Robert (and Evangeline) Olson of Decorah, IA, sister; Ruth Peterson of Litchfield and many nieces, nephews and others. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd, Sr., sister Marjorie, granddaughter Rebekah and great granddaughter Chloe.
