Lynn M. Bredeson, age 50, of Grove City, MN, died on Friday, November 27, 2009, at the Glen Oaks Care Center in New London, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN.
Lynn Marie Bredeson, the daughter of Art and Kathy (Loch) Tipka, was born on October 18, 1959 in Litchfield, Minnesota. She grew up in Litchfield, graduating from the Litchfield High School in 1978. She continued her education and graduated from the Hutchinson Technical School in 1979. She was united in marriage to Michael Bredeson in Litchfield at the Church of St. Philip on July 19, 1980. She lived in the Litchfield and Grove City area her entire life. Lynn started her career at the Thompson Law Office in Litchfield and was hired as a Deputy Court Administrator at the Court Administration office in Litchfield where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of St. Philip.
Lynn enjoyed growing flowers and gardening, counter-cross stitching, shopping, traveling, scrapbooking, reading, listening to music and spending time and visiting with her family and friends. She was an inspiration to her family and will be remembered for her determination, positivity, laughter and her sense of humor as she journeyed through her illness that she was diagnosed with in the spring of 1999.
Lynn is survived by her husband Mike Bredeson of Grove City, MN; children Blake Bredeson of New Prague, MN and Megan Bredeson of Grove City, MN; mother Kathy Tipka of Litchfield, MN; brothers David (and Lana) Tipka of Litchfield, MN and Joe (and Nicole) Tipka of Delano, MN; sisters Pam (and Scott) Isaacson of South Haven, MN, and Wendy (and Brad) Hamm of Dassel, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Kathy Koepp and Nancy Thorp; and her dog Mickey.
She was preceded in death by her father Art Tipka; grandparents Paul “Gus” and Gert Loch and her father-in-law Merlin Bredeson.
