Louise Fester, age 86, of Grove City, died on August 16, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Church of our Lady in Manannah. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Church of Our Lady in Manannah with a prayer service at 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Litchfield.
Louise Mary Fester was born on June 2nd, 1931 to Marion and Anna Donahue in Westbrook, Minnesota. She graduated from Storden High School in 1949. On April 4, 1956, she was united in marriage to Raymond Fester in Jeffers, Minnesota. They lived in several communities including Springfield, Litchfield, Darwin and Grove City. Louise was a wonderful homemaker and also worked for Heartland Community Action. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Manannah Catholic Church. Louise loved to dance especially to polka music, but most of all she loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her children; Yvonne (Randy) Johnson of Grove City, Marion (Cindy) Fester of Belgrade, Annette (Robert) Cronen of Kandiyohi, Sharon (Norm) Krouth of Grove City, Judy (Brad) Haag of Grove City and Duane (Codey) Fester of Grove City. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, siblings Beverly (Roman) Macht of Owatonna, Elvera Benson of Balaton, Leo Donahue of Longmont, CO and sister-in-law Marje Donahue of Montevideo. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, brother John Donahue and grandson Raymond John Krouth.
