Louis H. Bohn

Louis H. Bohn, age 90, of Litchfield, MN died on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Cedar Crest of Cosmos. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will be held in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Louis Henry Bohn, the son of Paul and Clara (Rienke) Bohn, was born on June 14, 1924 in Litchfield, MN. He received his education in rural country school and at the St. John's Lutheran Church Parochial School in Cedar Mills. He was united in marriage to Virginia Gillman on February 20, 1946 in Litchfield, MN. Louis lived and farmed on the same farm all of his life until he became ill in 2006 when he moved to Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson and in 2010 he moved to Cedar Crest in Cosmos, MN. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills. Louis enjoyed being outdoors, working on the farm, fishing, camping, pheasant and deer hunting, spending time with dog Rex and four wheeling with his great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Virginia of Litchfield, MN; daughter Sally (and Robert) Gilberts of Litchfield, MN, granddaughter Tanna (and Jason) Stucky of Royalton, MN; great grandsons Terek and Javin; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
