Loretta Mae Blaha, age 83, died peacefully on December 27, 2016. Loretta was born August 4, 1933 to Fred and Freda Berglin of rural Cokato, Minnesota. She graduated from Cokato High School in 1951. On September 27th, 1952 she was united in marriage to Francis Blaha of Litchfield, Minnesota. The couple had 4 children. They made their home in Litchfield for 24 years and then moved to Hopkins, Minnesota. In 2014 she moved back to Litchfield.
Loretta is survived by daughters Linnae (Robert) Custer of Lawrence, Kansas, Cheryl (Mike) Swanson of Darwin, Minnesota, sons Jeff Blaha of Blaine, Minnesota and Tim Blaha of Hopkins, Minnesota, grandchildren Holly (Brett) Dolliver of River Falls, Wisconsin, Lucas (Carissa) Swanson of Watkins, Minnesota, Blake Swanson of Darwin, Minnesota, Jonathon (Kristin) Blaha of Anoka, Minnesota, great grandchildren Katelyn and Brayden Dolliver and Adrianna and Aaliyah Swanson and special adopted granddaughter Emily Bell of Joplin, Missouri and many other relatives and friends and also by her beloved cat Miss Violet. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Wilton, Maynard and Dale and grandson Michael Wieczorek. A private family service was held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, Minnesota.
