Lorene V. Ruchti

Lorene V. Ruchti, age 96, of Litchfield, MN, died on September 15, 2010 at the Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield, MN. A private family service will be held with burial at the Kerkhoven Evangelical Free Church Cemetery. Lorene Virginia Ruchti, the daughter of Siegfried and Carrie (Eckman) Carlson was born on August 1, 1914 in Lindstrom, MN. She grew up living with her grandparents in Kerkhoven where she received her education. Lorene was a member of the Kerkhoven Evangelical Free Church and the Church of God in Litchfield. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and listening to music. She also enjoyed flowers and gardening. Lorene is survived by one daughter, Loretta Eckman and step son, Paul Eckman, both of Litchfield, MN; 5 grandchildren, Natalie Wiberg and Susie Bloemke both of Willmar, Julie Farley of Colome, SD, Dan and Dawn Snethen all from Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 5 great grandchildren, Chris Eckman, Angela Gibbs, Jessie Gibbs, Kimberly Gibbs and Cari McCargar; 7 great great grandchildren Damion Salzar, Mikia Pancow, Lily, Piper and Toby McCargar, Ciera Melini and Nikolos Pancow. Also by proxy, great grandchildren Tracy Adams, Heather Cable, Mark Gibbs, Ulysses Nelson and Cody Franco; and 4 great great grandchildren Lexie Swartz, Jonathan Cable, Emilie Thomes and Jordan. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Snethen of Colome, South Dakota.
