A Celebration of Llyn’s life will take place on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11 AM at the Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home Chapel in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Llyn Waterhouse, the son of Lawrence and Mary (Miscevich) Waterhouse, was born on August 10, 1959, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Llyn lived in numerous cities around the United States due to his father’s military assignments. He met Cindy Husnick at a friend’s house in Oakdale, MN, and immediately fell in love. He married Cindy in October of 1976 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and two children were born to this union, Nathan and Jamie. Together they lived in Colorado where Llyn worked as a maintenance manager for apartment complexes. After his divorce to Cindy, Llyn continued to live in Colorado and work various jobs including a bouncer at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Llyn was able to listen and meet many famous 80’s rock bands. Llyn always regretted his divorce to the love of his life and after 21 years of living apart from each other, Llyn and Cindy remarried on February 2, 2002, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Llyn moved to Minnesota in 1997 and worked with cellular companies as a technician. In 2001, he began working with T-Mobile where he worked as a technician, working on connections to cellular towers. Llyn retired from T-Mobile after over 20 years of service on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Big hearted, selfless, had a kind soul, and always willing to help others, are just a few words to describe Llyn. He loved to go fishing, camping in the mountains, spending time outside where he had a deep connection to animals. He also loved the cheering for the Denver Broncos and the beautiful Islands of Hawaii. Llyn loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Husnick-Waterhouse of Litchfield; son, Nathan (Fiancé Katie Vinson) Waterhouse of GA; daughter, Jamie (Biggs) Hylton of GA; 5 grandchildren, Cashis Williams, Gabby Waterhouse, Shawn Hylton, Maddie Waterhouse, and Crosby Waterhouse; brothers, Greg Waterhouse, Scott (Jan) Waterhouse, Terry (Vicky) Waterhouse, and Gary Waterhouse; sister, Ellen Goldberg; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
