Lenora C. Kampsen

Lenora C. Kampsen, age 86 of Litchfield, MN died on Sunday August 5, 2018 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Litchfield. Lenora Catherine Kampsen, the daughter of Michael and Ida (Jaeger) Gruber was born on September 16, 1931 in Lake Henry, MN. She was united in marriage to Edwin Kampsen on October 25, 1949 in Lake Henry, MN. Lenora worked on the farm with Edwin and also various jobs; Fingerhut for many years, cook for Gloria Dei and Emmanuel, retiring in 2008. Lenora loved her family and did everything she could for family always putting us first. She was the best mom in the world. She loved to play bingo. She was a member of the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Gary) Baltes of Bemidji, MN; grandson Matt (Stacey) Baltes of Plummer, MN and granddaughter Nikki (Gus) Seward of Missoula, Mt; great grandchildren Kelsey and Macey Baltes; and Ryder and Marley Seward; sisters; Erma (Jim) Rieland and Patty (Ado) Weseman. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Ida; son Allan Kampsen in 1979; grandson Casey Baltes in 1986; brothers Urban, Michael Jr, Marcellus, David and sisters Florence Bergetta, Virgenetta, Delores, Shirley and her husband Edwin.
