LeeAnn K. Niece, age 45, of Litchfield, MN, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church, Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. LeeAnn Kay Niece, the daughter of James and Vivian (Johnson) Taina, was born in Litchfield, MN on November 13, 1966. She attended Litchfield High School, graduating in 1985. LeeAnn worked as a waitress and bartender at the Bonfire Bar and Grille for many years, where she had many friends. She enjoyed the wilderness, going to demolition derbies, attending the annual ABATE Rally, bartending and spending time with her friends and family. She held cancer awareness close to her heart and supported Relay for Life. LeeAnn always had dogs for pets, and will be greatly missed by her dog Abby. She is survived by her mother Vivian Taina of Litchfield, MN; special friend Dennis Dougherty of Litchfield, MN; children, Ryan Niece of Litchfield, MN and Tanner Niece of Litchfield, MN; brother and sister-in-law Kevin Taina of Litchfield, MN and Crystal Taina of Litchfield, MN; nieces and nephews, Vanessa, Daniel and Mason Taina; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
