Lawrence ""Larry"" Harvey Johnson

Lawrence ""Larry"" H. Johnson, age 70, died on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the First Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery. Lawrence ""Larry"" Harvey Johnson, the son of Harold and Teckla (Peterson) Johnson, was born on July 12, 1943, in Flint, Michigan. His family moved to Litchfield when he was a child, where he graduated from Litchfield High School in 1961. He was married to Sandra Frank in 1965. Larry worked at Rockite Silo as a truck driver for many years. He also worked at Anderson Crane until retiring in 2002. Larry enjoyed working on cars, restoring antique tractors, and fixing things. Larry is survived by his wife, Sandra of Litchfield; children, Wendy (and John) Jordan of Cook, and David Johnson (and Bev Meyer) of Litchfield; grandchildren, Alexandra and Andrew Jordan, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doris Lewerenz.
